Did you know that the Earth has a song? Ham radio operators have heard it for years but NASA's Van Allen probes recorded the clearest version of it we have. This song is sung by lightning strikes and excited electrons running around the Van Allen Belts. The Van Allen Belts are two bands of radiation around Earth.
